The Image Fusion & Analytics research group is responsible for delivering innovative technology in the fields such as Imaging, Visualization and Analytics.
We do this by merging three aspects - research, algorithm development and distributed systems. Each field covers a wide range of technologies, from deep learning, image processing techniques to cloud computing and big data.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ML Ops Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the research scientist and production environment by creating and maintaining a proper infrastructure for training, evaluation, and deployment of AI algorithms. This is a key role that requires expertise in software engineering, data engineering, and machine learning operations.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain automated workflows for model training, evaluation, and deployment;
- Design and build scalable systems for data processing, model training, and deployment.
- Work closely with research scientists in order to deploy and supervise the trained models.
- Develop tools aimed to increase the productivity of multiple ML Engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards for data handling and model deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field;
- Good programming skills in Python;
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform;
- Experience with version control systems such as Git;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Good understanding of storage solutions for big data projects.
- Ability to design a distributed system using the Kubernetes platform.
