We are lookingfor Lead Software Engineer

• As an expert in applicationdevelopment and solution architecture, you will be working closely withimplementation teams and key stakeholders of our customers and partners withinmultiple projects.
• You will be the go-to person inhelping customers and partners understand how the Mendix platform can beapplied to implement complex business processes and solutions.
• You will provide guidance tocustomers how to position the Mendix platform in the best way within theirorganization.
• Interprets internal or externalbusiness issues and recommends solutions and best practices
• Leads the team's developers byexample, acting as a mentor in the development craft
• Defines guidelines andestablishes and maintains high quality Mendix application standards
• Keeps the other developersengaged with the project we are working with
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills and an ability to help customers find the right solution(not the obvious one)
• Able to communicate well withall levels, from C-level executives and Enterprise Architects, Designers andDevelopers
• Reaches out to other teams andworks towards alignment and overall continuous improvement
• Acts as a beacon of excellenceand as an employee of reference, mentoring junior colleagues

You’d describeyourself as:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree incomputer sciences, or a similar information technology – related discipline
• 3-5+ years of professionalexperience in software development
• Able to explain technicalsubjects to non-technical people
• Collaborative and positiveattitude
• Proven experience in developingand operating applications
• Experience in integrations withAPI's.
• Knowledge and experience inmost of the areas below is good to have
• Web front-end technology (e.g.HTML, JavaScript or React)
• Architecture patterns (e.g.Micro services, Event driven, Layered)
• Database technology (e.g.MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
• Common integration protocols(e.g. REST, SOAP, XML or HTTP)
• CICD
• Cloud solutions (e.g. AWS,Azure, Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes)
• Strong and confident technicaldecision making.
• Ability to work in diverseenvironments (multi-cultural/multi-country/geographically distributed teams).
• High attention to detail.Doesn't leave things to be addressed or left undone.
• Nice to have: Experience ofMendix or other low code development platform
• Language skills: Fluency inEnglish is a must have
