Job description

We are recruiting for an IT Business Demand Analyst.

If you want to work in a world with IT equipment controlling machinery in the factory then this is the place for you. The shop floor is controlled and automated by IT and we need some help understanding what the internalcustomer requirements are and passing these through to our in-house technical delivery teams as work packages.

The aim is to push us forward with new technologies as the factory evolves. With a Virtual Reality Cave and robots coming into production this is a fast paced and exciting place to work! We are a tight knit team and work hard in a fun environment. We need someone with strong communication skills, listening ability and motivation to deliver. Flexibility is key in this role so if you like every day to be different then this is the role for you. Your average day will include working with engineers, factory and office staff to understand what IT needs to deliver.

Mission :

Working in a small but effective IT team supporting a 24 / 7 manufacturing and office environment, you will manage a reliable demand management service and support the needs of the site to ensure a consistent pipeline of work packages to the IT team and delivery of these back to the business.

Dimensions of Function:

· Reporting to the Head of IT
· Translation of business requirements into IT work packages
· Clear prioritisation of tasks according to the varying needs of the business
· Driving a team of demand analysts and application developers
· Delivery of global initiatives in a local environment
· Managing an international resource pool

Skills & Experience

· Experience in a customer facing IT requirements gathering role
· Strong understanding of business processes
· Business analysis / application development background
· Practical experience of agile methodology
· Project management & Change Management skills
· International matrix management of resource
· Previous experience supporting a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
· German language an advantage
