Inside Sales Engineer HVAC

Job description

Siemens Building Technologies is currently recruiting for an inside sales engineer to support our industry leading range of heating, ventilation and air conditioning control products. The role will require you to provide product selection, quotations and first level technical support for our value added partners, distributors and end users. We are looking for an office based person that has a keen mind and enjoys providing good customers service whilst working within an established team. We are willing to take on the finished article or invest in somebody with the right attitude that has the desire to learn and develop within the organization.

What are my responsibilities?

· Office-based first level technical support for HVAC products (thermostats, valves, dampers ect.)
· Technical support for residential heating products
· Valve sizing support direct to customers and sales team
· Product selection and quotations
· Technical support via site visits (as necessary).
· Keep abreast of new technologies/products, and best practice.
· Provide market and technical feedback to staff in Frimley (Product Managers, etc).
· Assist where necessary with Product Testing (involvement where necessary in new Product Testing and rollouts).
· Work with other relevant stakeholders (Product Manager, Sales Manager, CPS Technical Support Team) as necessary.
· Maintenance of existing documents.
· Actively share knowledge and information
· Provide good level of customer service
· Conform to required Health & Safety guidelines and practices.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

· Experience in a range of business situations
· Ability to display a level of confidence and experience
· Good interpersonal skills
· Willingness to provide good customer service
· Confident user of IT technology
· General interest in engineering
· Logical approach to fault-finding
· Good interpersonal skills, telephone manner, etc.
· Recognized qualification -5 GCSE grade C or equivalent
· Engineering qualifications in electronic/electrical or mechanical or relevant business experience.
