This position will be based out of Newbury in the UK and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Installing & supporting hardware at customer sites, OS Installations/upgrades on hosts as well as PCI card installations and tracking service requests.

Running remote diagnostics where applicable, carrying spare hardware, replacing failed boards, sending failure reports to hardware backend team, liaising with customer on progress and status.

Also, IT Systems Administration, assisting Mentor colleagues in supporting server room infrastructure in the UK offices as required, as well as providing desktop support to users throughout EMEA.

What are the requirements:

Customer facing experience and hardware support, preferably with Enterprise level customers. Demonstrated ability of managing critical tasks at customers’ sites with minimal supervision.

Experience in the handling of electronics parts and spares.

Strong command of English, both written and verbal, the ability to follow technical directions and proven customer service skills.
