Our UK and Ireland Rolling Stock and Customer Service business works to deliver new innovative and sustainable trains and keeps them running safely once delivered for their full design life.

The Challenge

Begin your journey with us whilst taking part in our fantastic graduate development programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in Siemens.

As a graduate, you will:

·  Take a 2 year journey through the business covering engineering, innovation, maintenance operations, sales, digitisation, safety etc.
·  Undertake a range of vocational and product trainings to support building your knowledge
·  Gain the necessary experience and portfolio to support Chartered Engineer status
·  Support the customer service engineering organisation delivering engineering work packages required to maintain our fleets, taking on more challenging tasks as your journey progresses
·  Take part in Innovation projects to bring new, sustainable and future technologies to the industry across a range of engineering disciplines
·  Learn how the business operates and how the engineering processes are applied to ensure efficient and safe delivery of our works

The Candidate

We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:

·  Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in an engineering degree. 
·  You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
·  You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
·  You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
