Financial Planning and Analysis Controller

Siemens Healthcare are recruiting a Service FP&A Controller to provide strong and reliable commercial and financial reporting, controlling & support for Service across the Healthcare group.

You will be a qualified accountancy professional, with extensive financial experience and advanced Excel skills, gained within a corporate environment with previous experience of using SAP or similar ERP systems.

Your main tasks and responsibilities

·  Prepare monthly in-depth analysis of all relevant business area cost centres:
·  Compare to forecast and budget
·  Highlight areas of concern & unusual items
·  Investigate critical areas and correct mis-postings
·  Ensure correct allocation to Business Lines
·  Create cost accruals as needed
·  Analyse Diagnostics’ spare parts usage, comparing to forecast and budget, correcting mis-postings and highlighting areas of concern & unusual items.  Liaise with Customer Service Diagnostics Business Manager to resolve issues.
·  Prepare monthly FTE bridge by team and cost centre. 
·  Take responsibility for monthly Service forecast (New Orders, Revenue, CoGS, oCoGs, Gross Profit, Free Cash Flow/Operating Working Capital, Employees) in conjunction with the service business managers.
·  Play an integral role in the annual budgeting process for the Service business, quantifying the business volume expectations for following year and establishing accurate and robust CoGs, oCoGs, Employees and Free Cash Flow budgets. Prepare the Service budget presentation, including bridges, and assist in its presentation to business managers.
Ensure accurate completion of the budget planning tool and documentation.
·  Ensure that revenue is recognised and released on a timely basis. 
·  Proactively seek to improve the processes and tools used in the budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis. Seek to streamline processes to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of reports and analysis.
·  Provide assistance to the Zone Lead FI, Zone Head of Service, Head of BA Service and Service management for any ad hoc requests in a timely manner.
·  Deputise for the Head of BA Service to provide continuity and consistency in approach to commercial and finance related topics.

Qualifications/Experience

·  Excellent analytical skills
·  Experience in a financial role
·  ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant
·  Excellent Excel skills
·  Good communication skills
·  SAP experience would be an advantage
·  Good team player
·  Initiative
·  Attention to detail
