What are the responsibilities?

You will be responsible for thecompletion and management of maintenance activities of the company’s products throughperforming and supportingon site activitiesin partnershipwith the business, customer and contractors to in line with the site program.

You’ll alsoact as a technical and commercial link between the business and clients helping the business drive high customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for the following key activities;

· Be responsible for servicing, maintaining, commissioning, installing and provision of technical support across the full range of SGT Products and Systems
· Work under own initiative with minimal supervisionand provide our customerswith the highest levels of service possible
· Ensure that any new mechanical and electrical installations are installed to good engineering practice and in accordance with company issued P&ID's
· Possess ability to read and maintain “As Built Drawings” (electrical & mechanical) through to final Commissioning in order to ensure that O&M manualscan beupdated as may berequired. To assist with and drive the commissioning of newly installed SGT products and provide instrumentation configuration expertise
· Understand the needs of our customers and markets. Build relationship & partnerships with our external customers as well as our internal colleagues
· Continuously seek to add value to the services provided which include remote diagnostic support services and training
· Demonstrate a commercial awareness and an ability to recognize new service Sales opportunities for SGT which include system upgrades
· Always aim to achieve first time fixes-solutions leading to reduced breakdown times and lower costs to the customer
· Take full responsibility for Environmental andH&S when on siteand ensure control measures are in place in the field. This will include completion of relevant risk assessments, method statements and undertaking all relevant legislative training requirements
· Identify opportunities and processes necessary to exploit synergies for all activities.
· Ensure the service levels and growth expectations of the division are met and exceeded
· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all internal support departments, Co-ordinate service activities on customer sites to ensure compliance with rules/requirements
· Technically demonstrate and explain issues and solutions with customers and end users
· Feedback to relevant internal departments where issues persist on-site with SGT products and whenever practicable offer recommendations for improving product/documentation/Warranty going forward

What do you need to qualify for the job?

· You’ll be a proven engineer with experience of rotating equipment with a strong Mechanical or Electrical background
· Degree qualified or equivalent
· You’ll be a great communicator and influential too, taking charge of teams in different countries – so you’ll be culturally aware as well. Most importantly you’ll exceed our client’s expectations with your technical ability and great way with people.
