Siemens Distributing Systems gives our British & Irish customers the reliable, intelligent power distribution solutions, of today, and for tomorrow.

We are in a unique position to have a key role in ensuring the energy grid delivers – from a full range of distribution systems and solutions, including Medium & Low Voltage Switchgear, with associated Service Options, and e-Mobility answers for residential and public transport.

The Challenge

Embark on your 12-month placement with us whilst taking part in our fantastic intern development programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in Computer Science. 

Here is a taste of what you can expect:

·  Developing and producing analytical information in tools including Internal Business Performance, Sales Campaigns, Win/Loss analysis in the verticals 
·  Internal Business Performance Matrix - analysis and presentation of monthly performance vs KPIs
·  Sales Campaign - leveraging information from the asset base to produce a ‘go to market’ service campaign 
·  Vertical Win/Loss - why we are winning/losing projects in each of our target verticals 
·  Work on our project Happy - customer satisfaction analysis 
·  You will have a good level of responsibility and have clear visibility of the outcomes to your work
The Candidate

We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:

·  Studying towards a 2:2 or above in Business/Economics/Data Science/maths/engineering
·  Brings new thinking and takes initiative
·  You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
·  Self-motivated and task orientated
·  A fine eye for detail with the ability to spot trends and communicate them to others
·  You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
·  You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
