The Siemens Industry, Inc in Roebuck, SC is seeking a CycleCount Group Lead, Level 6 to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamicteam.  The Cycle Count Group Leadassists the plant by managing the cycle count team and their daily operations.Primary task is confirming part quantity and location of various materials inthe LP warehouse. Using an RF gun to perform planned cycle counts as well asunplanned counts to reconcile inventory discrepancies and to assist in auditfindings to improve inventory accuracy.

As Cycle Count Group Lead, you will:

Responsibilities

  • Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. manual and powered sit-down and stand-up industrial trucks).  Must be licensed on sit down and stand-up industrial trucks.
  • Enforce 5S, 7 Wastes and other lean principles in the team / area.
  • Report of any shortage to GL or Supervisor to prevent a stop in production.
  • Communicate with Planning Group on ordering line side parts from warehouse.
  • Conduct and directs cycle counts as needed.
  • Accommodate requests of LP Production personnel.
  • Read diagrams, spreadsheets for parts to ASC operation.
  • Utilize SAP and WM data management program to look up parts.
  • Knowledge of carousel machines (holds breakers).
  • Perform other work as directed by Supervision.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of sit down and stand-up industrial trucks.
  • Knowledge on all the operations of the assembly / fabrication / process of the area.
  • Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools.   
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
  • Must be able to reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs. , and push/pull/slide heavy material 
  • Must be able to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb
