What will you do?

·  Install and connect conduits and cables
·  Position and install equipment panel sensors as well as other components and control devices.
·  Make control panels
·  Check wiring
·  Carry out or contribute to system start-up
·  Participate in the final inspection of the site
·  Prepare all corrected as-built drawings for the design engineer
·  Assist the project manager in coordinating on-site activities and monitoring progress Prepare and schedule the installation
·  Assess and order required materials
·  Manage a team of assigned apprentices
·  Give ideas to solve problems related to the design or installation
·  Be part of the initial client handover team, where possible, to plan work from the beginning

What will you need to succeed?


·  High School or Vocational studies diploma
·  CCQ card, journeyman level
·  ASP Construction Health and Safety Card (or agrees to take the 30-hour course in order to obtain it on personal time)
·  Must be available to work with flexible schedules and additional hours (evenings/week-ends) where necessary
·  Excellent knowledge of French, spoken and written
·  Basic knowledge of English, spoken and written
·  Knowledge of building mechanical systems (an asset)
·  Good communication skills and teamwork, while demonstrating autonomy and resourcefulness
·  Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems
·  Valid driver’s licence and vehicle and own vehicle
