What role will you play? 

·  As part of your job, you will integrate data from various data source systems (databases, web services, event streams) into our Azure Cloud.
·  You are primarily responsible for the independent preparation, consolidation, and transformation of large (un)structured data sets.
·  You will work with different databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and cloud infrastructures (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse).
·  You will develop logical data models, implement them physically and responsible for integration in scalable cloud architectures.
·  You will also ensure data integrity, validity and quality using modern tools (e.g., ADF, Pentaho, SSIS)
·  You will also support the manual and automated transfer of data records from existing database systems (on premise SQL Server database) to our cloud infrastructure.
·  · You will support our data architect to build our iRAM API service framework for our customers.
·  · Lastly, you will proactively participate in the development of best practices and continuously educate yourself to stay up to date with the latest technology.
We are looking for:

·  A degree in computer science, business informatics, information systems, related fields.
·  You have at least 3 years of practical experience as a data engineer
·  You have in-depth knowledge of relational databases and data processing languages such as SQL and Python.
·  You have practical experience working with Microsoft Azure Data Services, such as Synapse, ADF, SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob storage.
·  You have hands-on experience working with API service solution.
·  You have a good understanding of data modeling and machine learning.
·  You have strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
·  You are familiar with working in agile teams and have a high willingness to learn.
·  You are a team player with the ability to communicate objectively, clearly and support your fellow colleagues.
·  You have very good knowledge of spoken/written English
