What are the responsibilities of the position?

· Overall strategic RC business planning (in coordination with Sectors and Corporate departments) closely aligned with overall Siemens and Cluster strategy, including strategic controlling.
· Perform a Liaison Officer function with Development Banks/Funding Institutions, including:
· Monitoring and maintaining funding project lists
· Supporting Sectors in application and negotiation processes
· Analysing training requirements within the Cluster for interaction with Development Banks/Funding Institutions
· Developing and presenting suitable training interventions to prepare employees for interaction with Development Banks/Funding Institutions
· Maintaining Management Reporting
· Data compilation for KPI Reporting on Cluster funding utilisation
· Identification, conceptual design, consultancy and project management of selected strategically relevant projects to support Executive Management (e.g. Top+).
· Drive overall market intelligence & competitor analysis in combination with economic conditions and trends to derive findings and measures in cooperation with Sectors.
· Coordinate and support ad-hoc enquiries and reporting requests from Cluster & HQ by developing reports, presentations and other output

What do I need to qualify for the position?

· Completed Degree / National Diploma ( prefferably mechanical )
· Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
· Good marketing trend analysis skills
· Turbine and power generation knowledge/experience is essential
· Financial and reporting skills
· Good communication & time management skills. Ability to multi-task.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
· Manage deadlines & occasional long hours
· Excellent verbal & written business English and French
· Advanced experience using PowerPoint for report creation and Excel for business modeling and data analysis
· High integrity value, independent, highly motivated and resourceful
· Adherence to all valid guidelines and compliance regulations within Siemens
