Job Description:

Position Overview

The Engineer 1 position assists the Panel Shop Supervisor in day to day operations. The role receives engineered documents and reviews them for compliance as well as works to ensure their timely completion. The position will also be asked to perform procurement.

Responsibilities

·  Review Engineered Documents for conformity to production
·  Assist installers in the actual installation of panels
·  Provide procurement activities to include ordering and receiving materials
·  Provide assistance to shipping of products
·  Work to ensure production meets or exceeds expectations

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

·  Associates Degree in applied engineering or equivalent
·  Three years of experience in the design and installation of panels

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

·  Bachelors Degree in engineering
