Join our Vision Technologies and Solutions team located in Princeton, NJ, for a 6-month full-time (40 hours/week) internship starting July and working on research and implementation of state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms for computer vision applications. Our close contact to different business units in Siemens provides the opportunity to contribute to and gain experience in real industrial applications. During this internship, you will experience the excitement and challenges of industrial research. What are my responsibilities?
·  You will contribute to industrial research projects on that develop a variety of algorithms and systems in computer vision, image and video analysis (including publications).
·  You will apply image and video analysis techniques to large-scale, real-world problems.
·  You will collaborate and exchange ideas with experts in the fields of computer vision, deep learning and natural language processing.
·  You will implement concepts and solutions in prototypes

What skills are needed to qualify for this internship?
·  A current MS student pursuing a degree in Engineering or Mathematics . Please note, you must still be enrolled as a student during the internship period to qualify for the position.
·  1-2 years of experience in computer vision, machine/deep learning, or related fields.
·  1-2 years of experience with hands-on coding skills and ability to quickly prototype in C++/python
·  1 year of experience in advanced algorithm prototyping
·  1 year of programming experience in MATLAB and C++, e.g. writing reusable code
·  1 year of practical experience in research on computer vision
·  Knowledge of advanced deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/Tensorflow)
·  Domain knowledge in computer vision systems preferred
·  Excellent team working and communication (verbal & written) skills
·  Flexibility and adaptability to work in a growing, dynamic, interdisciplinary team of experts.
