Partnership Development Officer

Job description

We are looking for a bubbly and dynamic young person interested in talking and building relationships with university societies and youth charities. Being part of partnerships means you will help build partnerships with charities and university societies to help increase the number of young people engaging with us as writers or via our Political Literacy workshops.

Your Essential Responsibilities:

-Establish relationships with charities and university societies with the aim of getting their members to join us as writers on our platform and to help them run Political Literacy workshops.
-Build current partnerships
-Research the sector for new opportunities to partner

We are a multi-award winning independent youth news platform that provides young people with the tools necessary to engage in politics and a platform to shout out and be heard. Spearheaded by our Political Literacy Course – and supplemented by a host of different infographics, videos, articles, workshops and events – we are a one-stop-shop for political learning and enrichment.

Requirements:

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills allied with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships both with prospects and current partners.
-Success driven with a high level of personal accountability and the capability to deal with changing priorities, handling challenges (internal and external).
