Job Description

The Turnaround (TA) Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling the Event related activities including Projects work within SJI. He/she will provide professional scheduling for Turnaround-related activities including Pitstop to support quality Event planning and preparation, for delivery of Event according to premise.

·  Act as the Primavera P6 focal point, for each assigned TA Event/ Pitstop.
·  Develop accurate and detailed schedule including pre-work and execution for turnarounds using Primavera with direct alignment and interface to SAP work orders.
·  Ensure all schedules are fully resource loaded and levelled.
·  Determine activity relationships and work with respective disciplinary planners and engineers (including Operations, Projects and Turnaround) to create work activity linkages, for scope integration.
·  Integrate Event schedule with the Projects group to align the Projects and TA activities. Challenge and set the logic. Communicate the integrated schedule.
·  Look for opportunities to rationalize Event scheduling effort.
·  Implements the Site TA scheduling premises.
·  Fast track discovery work integration into the schedule during Event execution, and provide Event duration LE.
·  Field monitoring of actual work progress to check reported progress.
·  Participate in close-out and look back.
·  Update the schedule progress with actual hours, to help sharpen SoN.
·  Ensure daily update of master schedule and perform regular backups on the updated schedule.
·  Prepare for Schedule Mechanics Check and Schedule Optimisation/Challenge.
·  Interface with contractors on progress updates.
·  Monitor critical and near critical path activities, and generate daily report during execution.

Desired profile

Requirements

Educational Qualifications :

·  Degree in Mechanical Engineering /Diploma or equivalent Professional Experience :
At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Scheduler in TA event or Process Plant Maintenance, with preferably some experiences as a field engineer in oil/gas & petrochemical industry.

·  Knowledge and application of turnaround planning tools like Primavera P6, MS-Project, MS-Office and SAP are essential.
