Media Management Assistant

At Scripps Networks Interactive we are a leading developer of engaging lifestyle content in the home, food and travel categories for television. Maybe you will have watched or heard of some our channels such as Fine Living, Food Network, Travel Channel to name a few.

We are currently seeking a proactive and creative Media Management Assistant to join the team processing media for broadcast, specific to our channel requirements. You would be working closely with many essential areas within the media broadcast department including - Ingest & QC, Compliance, Broadcast Operations, Technical Operations, Localisation, Scheduling, Planning, Creative Services, Marketing and Ad Sales. This a great first, (or second) step into this fast paced area of TV broadcast media.

Main Duties:

File authenticity checks and processing for distributing all content required for linear, non-linear broadcast or other distribution
Liaise directly with Media Management Supervisor, Media Management Coordinator and Media Operations departments on media availability/processing and escalation points on any content issues
Work closely with scheduling and planning departments to ensure deal throughput within the delivery deadline timeframes
Support the file based workflow, media asset management and delivery of Scripps content throughout the broadcast operations remit

Excellent Communication Skills
Calm under pressure and demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude
Strong time management skills with experience working towards tight deadlines
Comfortable with File-based technology and standards
Ability to prioritise and manage a large number of projects simultaneously
Experience with or exposure to a media asset management system
Passion for broadcast media
Computer Literate

Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in Media Coordination
Broadcast Media experience or exposure
