Summer Intern BAS System Technician

What you'll do:

· Assist in commissioning of control systems
· Assist in repair control system equipment
· Assist in diagnose communication problems and install control devices and other components
· Assist in troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment and field devices
· Other duties may be assigned

What environment you will work in:

· Mostly new construction sites
· Boots along with personal protection equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, and hi visibility vest)
· Moving over rough or uneven surfaces
· May require bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities
· Transporting material such as a laptop or other similar equipment
· Lifting light to moderately heavy items
· Exposed to outside weather conditions

What we need:

· Available to work 40 hours per week (summer)
· Currently a student enrolled in an Engineering program
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Desire to learn and excel in the construction industry
· High level of attention to detail
· Transportation to different job sites
· Willing to climb a ladder
· Open minded and willingness to learn
