Schneider Electric is looking for a recent graduate to join our Quality Assurance Automation team. This is an exciting opportunity that will offer a combined role of automated and manual testing .The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of all products, from the definition of test strategies and plans, creation of automated test scripts, rigorous test execution, to final production deployment.

What you'll get to do:
· Develop, apply and maintain test strategies, test plans and test scripts for server applications.
· Develop, apply and maintain automated regression testing scripts, performance and load testing scripts.
· Follow established process for defect tracking and reporting, including logging defects in a detailed and reproducible way.
· Analyze formal test results in order to discover, document and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
· Analyze application documentation and technical specifications to determine its intended functionality.
· Ensure that new software meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications are met and implemented successfully.
· Provide reporting and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.
· Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
· Represent QA on cross-functional project teams.
· Estimate testing requirements for input into planning efforts.
· Provide support in maintenance of QA test environments.

Desired profile

This job might be for you if:
·  Bachelor Degree in Computer Science is required.
·  Minimum 2 years of experience working with programming languages (VB Script, Unix Scripting and%5Cor Perl), and relational database systems, including SQL query development.
·  Must be self-directed with a high degree of initiative.
·  Must have excellent written and communication skills including tact and diplomacy to maintain a cooperative relationship with development and business entities.

Nice to Haves:
·  HP Quality Center experience
·  Experience with scripting test automation tools preferably QTP
·  Experience testing automating web service (REST and SOAP) using tools like HP Service Test, SOAP UI and%5Cor Soap Scope
