What do you get to do in this position?

Provides technical support for several projects; assignments are of limited technical complexity and scope and require oversight from an Application or Senior Application Engineer. Is accountable for developing technical competence and capabilities.

Conducts software initialization of PC's to be shipped to customers, including testing, formatting, partitioning hard disks and installing software.

Assists Project Managers and Engineers with design documents, Tristation listings (control logic, data dictionary and configuration); entering/editing alarm or trip ladder logic and data dictionary under the direction of the Engineer; preparing manuals and custom documentation; including flow charts and diagrams.

Performs system checkout. Participates in test assembly and wiring under the direction of the Project Engineer. Assists in pre-FAT and FAT testing.

EDUCATION

Education and/or experience equivalent to a Associate Technical School Diploma with specific autoCAD and 3D Inventor experience/Programming/scripting/electronics

EXPERIENCE

Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience in AutoCAD and 3D Inventor/Programming/Scripting/Electronics

KNOWLEDGE

Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Logic programming capability desired. Understanding of basic electrical / electronic circuits.


JOB COMPLEXITY

Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Builds stable working relationships internally.


SUPERVISION

Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Work is regularly reviewed by supervisor/senior peers.
