Project Application Engineer

Job Summary:

The Project Application Engineer will be responsible for engineering Industrial Control Systems and to provide solutions that will enable a cyber-secure network infrastructure in the Oil & Gas and Power industries, including project specification, design, functionality, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities:

Candidate shall be responsible for preparation of complex technical solutions to satisfy customer needs and develop turnkey products and services from design through the control systems hand over to the user.

Candidate shall be technical resourceful and able to define equipment and installations per contractual technical clauses with cost, project timeframe and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Candidate are expected to be highly motivated and pragmatic individuals who demonstrate excellent communication and relationship skills coupled with deep technical knowledge of the customer process as well as the Schneider Electric offer. They can understand complex industrial problems and can overcome diverse obstacles to develop and realize creative and effective solutions.

Technical responsibility for the project as assigned by Lead Engineer and Project Manager.

Attend project meetings and discussion with team and Customer to review, understand and implement the design requirements.

Developing all aspects of technical documents such as Functional design documents, implementation.

Perform typical logic design and define philosophy, responsible for overall configuration and development of control logic.

Interface with customers on technical details during project execution.

Monitor and track the engineering implementation plans.

Develop test procedure and perform Pre-FAT Test, FAT Test and IFAT.

Perform project documentation and ensure all technical documents are properly documented and updated.

Ensure all project deliverables are of highest quality and meet the schedule and requirements.

Meet and exceed Internal & External Customer expectation.

Achieve all project deliverables.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Candidate Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Chemical/Electrical/Control Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 10 years working experience in automation, instrumentation and control industry, with minimum 5 years supervisory and management experience in a technical environment.

Engineering and project management knowledge, manpower planning and utilization skills, basic financial knowledge, good communication and interpersonal skill, strong leadership skill. Proficient in MS Office package

Knowledge with Windows O/S systems, anti-virus systems, backup & restore solutions, system management.
