Product Expert - Industrial Automation

Job description

This Product application expert (PAE) position is responsible for developing and promoting Motion offers and solutions for the provinces of Quebec and Atlantic.

Responsibilities:

1. Market analysis, strategic planning/execution

2. Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with Area

Sales Manager to meet or exceed territorial targets.

3. Prospect, identify, and qualify potential sales opportunities in collaboration with sales team.

4. Develop and maintain business relationships with all Channel Partners, enabling them in the promotion and support of Schneider's motion products and Services.

5. Critical to your success includes working collaboratively with Schneider Marketing and Schneider and distributor Sales teams

6. Work on pricing strategies based on market conditions and changing dynamics in the assign territory.

7. Utilize excellent products/solutions/services and customer knowledge to educate distributor and Schneider sales force on pricing and application advantages, and how they better meet customer's needs.

8. Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability/access, customer responsiveness

9. Maintain post-sale relationship/follow up. Cultivate, develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or certificate in electronics, Motion and automation and extensive experience in Sales of Motion products similar to the Schneider Electric product line
· Mechanical understanding and capable of sizing and selecting motion axis as per applications requirements.
· Strong communication skills
