Procurement Engineer

Job description

· Establish and maintain relationships with external suppliers, including suppliers from within Schneider Electric's manufacturing sites.
· Work with the appropriate internal stakeholders to prepare and submit comprehensive scope of works and technical specifications for suppliers to quote their rates and services.
· Participate in supplier review and selection, and negotiate for optimal quality, costs and services that meet or exceed the required specifications.
· Discuss with internal stakeholders about, monitor and improve suppliers' performance.
· Ensure the satisfaction of Schneider Electric's internal customers relating to service and product quality.
· Update Regional/ Global Purchasing team of supplier listing, contract details, and cost of ownership.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
·  At least 5 years of relevant experiences, preferably in an Electrical/ Electronic products' manufacturing environment
·  Candidates with SAP experiences will be prioritized.
·  Proven ability to multi-task and drive outcomes.
·  Customer service and quality oriented.
·  Good written and spoken English.
