Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a proactive and highly motivated individual to assume the role of FP&A Analyst in Madrid, Spain.

This opportunity resides within the Director of Finance team within the Finance VP. This position will primarily focus on supporting the EMEA Region FP&A functions including budgeting and forecasting, monthly performance analysis and controlling activities.

Responsibilities

- Provide support on monthly reporting in (Orders, Sales, Upstream, BMP/Activity, GM by business) and first level of analysis of the figures.

- Data input, maintenance and cooperation on development of reports.

- Be able to support business by digging into Netsuite and provide more granular data for the analysis/reports.

- Creates and maintains accurate and thorough financial reporting of forecasts and actual results by project and service contract. Provides relevant (timely & accurate) variance analysis.

- Answer requests from the group / the zone / the country.

- Improve processes and use of tools: leverage all system capabilities, increase automatization of processes, deliver efficiencies.

- Backup and support for other members of the EMEA Finance team

Desired profile

Qualifications :

- Experience with ERP software considered an asset (Netsuite, SAP)

- Organizational ability in handling multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, graphing)

- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written

- Working level of English
