Job purpose

Schneider Electric is looking for a passionate, experienced, and skilled scrum master to join the big data team.

As part of the big data team, you will be responsible for coaching the team on scrum practices, planning and executing day-to-day scrum activities. You will work with engineering, product management, and business teams to plan and execute the project activities.

Duties and responsibilities

·
Guiding and coaching the big data platform scrum teams on how to use Agile (Scrum / Kanban) practices and values

·
Manage scrum teams' scope and timeline

·
Ensure big data platform scrum team understands and follows Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.

·
Resolve scrum team impediments by finding the right stakeholders that can help to remove the impediments. 

·
Organize scrum routines like Sprint Planning, Daily standups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

·
Create a collaborative partnership among internal and external product stakeholders and align all parties towards the same goal.

·
Monitor the project progress and report the progress to management team on a regular basis.

·
Report on key scrum metrics to various stakeholders including business teams and senior management.

·
Building a safe environment where scrum teams can raise the project issues. 

·
Work with product team on the backlog and support and educate the product team in grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

·
Facilitate internal communication and collaboration between team members.

·
Guide the scrum team in self-organization and to fill the gaps in agile framework.

·
Identify and resolve project level conflicts within the scrum team

·
Coach the scrum team to higher levels of scrum maturity.

Qualifications

·
Overall 8+ years of experience in working software products / platforms.

·
3+ years of working experience as a scrum master.

·
Indepth knowledge of Agile software development methodology.

·
Proven experience in managing and working with large teams based in multiple geographies.

·
Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) skills.

·
Scrum master certification

·
Previous experience as a team lead is a plus.
