What do you get to do in this position?

SUMMARY:

This position is the primary sales position within the organization responsible for identifying and selling projects. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing Schneider Electric customers to identify the scope of work and sell system adds/modifications so as to meet or exceed his/her booking and booked gross margin budgets.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop new business opportunities

· Prospect for and identify potential sales opportunities

· May prepare take-off and estimate costs of prospective sales opportunities

· Assist in the development of specifications

· Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics for individual sales opportunities

· Prepare sales quotations and proposals

· Generate and implement sales presentations

· Process and analyze feasibility assessments and/or all bid/contract documents

· May provide guidance to other employees

· Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for experienced sales professionals who love to win, work hard, are passionate, persistent, inquisitive, creative, confident and work well in a team. Is that you? Most importantly, do you have demonstrated achievement of sales goals in a construction environment?

The ideal candidate will have been in a sales role averaging at least $4 – 5M annually. Candidates that have been successful in conceptual sales or solutions sales will be considered. To be successful in this position you must have exposure to commercial real estate or the electrical/mechanical world.

EDUCATION:

· Four (4) year college degree required or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

· Two (2) years related work experience



SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Schneider Electric product knowledge a plus, but not required.
