Electrification Process Engineer

Job description

We are in search of a Process/Energy Engineer with expertise in energy flows, conservation (mass balance), and a general understanding of thermal flows. The ideal candidate should have experience as an energy manager or process engineer in heavy industrial sites such as Chemical, Refinery, or Life Science facilities. Additionally, a practical mindset, willingness to learn, good writing, and presentation skills, as well as an engineering degree (mechanical/chemical), are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform energy efficiency and electrification feasibility studies – from audit to report and recommendations

· Ability to assess energy flows and conservation, implementing mass balance principles

· Ability to assess thermal flows and optimize energy usage in heavy industrial processes

· Utilize expertise to serve as an energy manager and process engineer

· Liaise with senior domain experts for expert insights and extra input from electrical and digital domains

· Continuously learn and adapt to new industry trends and best practices

Communicate effectively through written reports and presentations

Qualifications :

Experience & Qualifications:

· 2-4 years of relevant experience in similar roles.

· Strong ability to connect with stakeholders, demonstrating expertise in end-to-end project execution and delivery.

· Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

· Proficiency in platforms including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Matlab and Tableau; ability to present insights in a user-friendly format.

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical/chemical) or a related field from a reputable university.

· MBA is a plus.
