Your mission:
Candidate position is to be part of the global standards team, responsible for global engineering standards in the areas of engineering design, sequence of operations, automation coding, graphics interface design, and test procedures, in the deployment of the PLC/SCADA based building management systems for the client deployment of new datacentres in the EU. This will involve preparation of complex technical solutions and system architectures in adherence of global standards to satisfy customer needs. The candidate will define equipment and installations per contractual technical clauses and participate in cost and project timeframe meetings.

About You:
Bachelors of science in engineering discipline or equivalent work experience is required
Knowledge of Data Center environment is a plus
Experience with automation systems
Experience in Manufacturing, Mechanical and/or Power systems;
Proficient in following electrical schematics and process P&IDs
Extensive knowledge of Schneider Electric automation platforms
Extensive knowledge of Schneider Electric SCADA platforms
Extensive knowledge of industrial networks

Your responsibilities:
- Standards co-ordination with global standards team (based in US) in the areas of engineering design, sequence of operations, automation coding, graphics interface design, and testing procedures for the EU region;
- Standards co-ordination as part of the global standards team direct with client, both in US and EU, in the areas of engineering design, sequence of operations, automation coding, graphics interface design, and test procedures;
- Standards co-ordination with specific EU project/package design teams in the areas of engineering design, sequence of operations, automation coding, graphics interface design, and test procedures, for each region project deployment;
- System architect for the design of each new project in the EU – responsible for system/hardware/network design;
- Overall technical responsibility for each new project deployment in the EU regions to adhere to global standard;
- Responsibility to work with EU project/package design teams on any possible new standards required in conjunction with the global standards team
- Travel to customer sites/installations

Design of system architectures
Analysis of electrical and mechanical schematics
Selection of automation product
Ability to formulate solution to customer expectations in clear and concise logic
Ability to formulate solution to customer supervisory requirements

Ability to work with teams in different time zones
Demonstrate ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Good track record of obtaining results with minimal supervision in a fast-paced team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good interpersonal team skills for teamwork, respect, courtesy, tact, and discretion
Must be flexible for extensive international travel
