Job description

Role Summary:
Industrial Automation (IA) Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team is looking for a new India based manager to drive the upskilling, development and transformation of the local team. This staff, based in Bangalore (India), is responsible for catalog development and core data architecture initiatives. The role requires you to develop an end-to-end understanding of the activities of Global Marketing, understand the expectations of the Line of Business (LoB, responsible for R&D and product consolidated P&L) global offer marketers & launch managers, and collaborate with digital marketing teams, central functions such as DCX / DCR team, Schneider digital or Schneider data hub.

The candidate must demonstrate leadership qualities to :
- effectively lead the team, including directing them towards the business goals
- contribute to IA efforts to rebalance capabilities across the team & drive operational efficiencies
- enhance the digital customer experience and support e-commerce acceleration

In this role, you will manage a team of 10-12 comprising data architects, catalog writers, and a publishing & designer team. As part of the global marketing team, you will have visibility of the LoB roadmaps to drive targets and plan resources.

Qualifications :

Required are the following abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or engineering (Electrical & Electronics /Electronics & Communications /Electronics & Instrumentation) engineering with Industrial Automation knowledge and an appetite for business and digitization
- Excellent spoken and written communications skills
- Vision of the big picture without losing sight of the details and an ability to secure timely, qualitative and efficient output
- Ability to establish a good relationship with Line of Businesses and encourage dialogs between all stakeholders of a project is important too
- Experience in managing, coaching and developing a team is a must as the India team needs to become a digital talent pool for Industrial Automation BU. This will require:

·  Push new ideas/new ways of doing things
·  Encourage team members to participate to non-routine activities (team meetings, trainings, special projects)
·  Encourage cross-functional working and cross-team working
·  Promote interaction with targeted commercial organizations like sales, marketing, social media teams, customer care centers to gather feedback and develop team customer centricity
·  In the medium term, the success of the team manager will be measured on the ability to increase the team proactivity, ability to take on innovation projects, and support the DCX evolution.
