Schneider Electric is currently seeking an enthusiastic, pioneering Sales Executive to join our Buildings Automation and Security Services team in our Chicago branch office.

Our Construction Sales Executives focused on building automation technology solutions help our customers optimize energy consumption, maintain healthy and productive environments, update aging facilities and provide anytime, anywhere access to building information. Satisfying customer needs is our top priority. The Sales Executive plays a crucial role seeing those needs through the customer's eyes. By delivering products, solutions and services, you contribute directly to their value chain.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and nurture client relationships with new and existing Schneider Electric customers by providing professional, quality services and timely communication.

- Responsible for developing new opportunities, identifying scope of work, preparing proposals and generating new business.

- Evaluate customer opportunities to aggressively target those which provide Schneider Electric a high probability to win.

- Participate in associations and network with third party technology providers and contractors to generate new business leads.

- Work closely with project management team to meet or exceed booking and booked gross margin budgets

- Manage a robust opportunity pipeline using Schneider Electric's CRM (SalesForce) system

Four (4) year college degree required or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

- Three (3) years related work experience.

- Education/experience related to technical sales, business or mechanical/electrical engineering.

- Experience with building automation and energy management technology solutions.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent organizational skills.

Proficient in using a CRM system as a tool to build account plans and track opportunities.

Schneider Electric product knowledge a plus.
