T he VIE is an international program for young professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Union nationals. In addition, the candidate cannot come from the country hosting the mission.

Missions

Start : October 1st

ü All the tasks assigned will be oriented to support the IT and Telco Purchasing team; and also optimize and ease the Specialized Buyer work
ü Suggest improvements in internal processes
ü Suggest improvements in internal and external communication (with the rest of purchasing teams and with external stakeholders)
ü Facilitate Specialized Buyers daily tasks by managing:

- Invoices litigation
- Suppliers validation and creation
- Reporting

ü Support Specialized Buyer for the preparation and realization of Business Review with Preferred suppliers
üAnticipate, collect, understand the needs of the business owner requirements

üContribute to the definition of the commodity purchasing strategy

üSecure EMEA central implementation of strategy in countries

üTrack productivity and addressed pending purchasing tools

ü Progressively leading, under the Specialized Buyer supervision, negotiations, starting with small or limited impact projects. And as the candidate will get more experience, he/she would handle bigger projects more autonomously . For this you will need:

ü Study and understand projects of our stakeholders
ü Define priorities and targets
ü Validate budgets with Finance
ü Prepare negotiation planning
ü Prepare and lead negotiations
ü Negotiate contracts in line with Schneider Electric policies
ü Validate results with Stakeholders and Finance

Qualifications :

Profile and Competencies

Education:

5 years degree in Business , Economy or ADE…

In additional: MBA, Master and others

Purchasing studies are expected

· Technical Field:

- Ability to run Purchasing RFP

- Scoring

- Negotiation

- Knowledge in IT negotiation is a plus

· Work experience needed:

- 1-2 year experience in a purchasing organisation ( internship or full time contract)

· Requested languages

- Fluent in English, Notion in Spanish is a plus

· Personal abilities or skills:

-Motivated, dynamic, hard worker and flexible

-Proactive attitude and Leadership: Ability to suggest improvements permanently

-Relational skills (communication skills, active listening, ability to manage relationships wth from different areas and especially in the international area).

-Ability to work in teams and collaborate across with the other departments.

-Independent and organized
