What do you get to do in this position?

The senior project engineer would be required to take the lead in system orders across the range of our process analyzer portfolio. The specific activities require leading a project from order acceptance to final site testing and customer acceptance. Activities include insuring the order matches the quoted configuration, creating Bills of Materials and associated project Engineering Drawings. In addition, moving those Bills of Materials to Production Planning and ensuring that Manufacturing is producing in compliance with the engineering documentation and customer/regulatory specifications. The project engineer will create and manage a Microsoft Project Schedule to keep track of materials, labor and assembly resources through daily and/or weekly project review meetings.

Additionally, this position will be required to take the lead in projects involving analyzer system integration, analyzer packaging, shelter design/specification and sub-contract. The candidate will be required to prepare engineering drawings, bills of material as well as support sub-contract procurement and system testing including customer witness test.

The candidate should be a self-starter, motivated and willing to put in the effort to bring the project to completion on schedule. The position may involve periodic travel to customer locations and project kick-off meetings (sometimes internationally). This candidate may be required to manage vendor scope and schedules as well.

In addition to project execution, the candidate will be expected to contribute to the bid and proposal process for large system integration projects.

Qualifications :

Requirements:

· Experience in this field of process analyzers and associated Sample Conditioning Systems is the key attribute.

· BS degree Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.

· 5-years minimum experience in project engineering / project management.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD is essential and/or SolidWorks or other engineering drawing packages would be advantageous.

· Experience with system integration of large analytical systems into refineries and petrochemical plants would be beneficial.

· Familiarity or a working knowledge of regulatory codes pertaining to hazardous locations, such as ATEX, IECEx and NFPA would be beneficial.
