Schneider Electric Columbia, Missouri Plant has an outstanding opportunity for a Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing and sustaining Lean and Six Sigma concepts, interfacing with cross-functional teams and other functional departments. Developing manufacturing PFMEAs, control plans and recognizing and achieving improvements in tooling and processes. Maintain current knowledge of the latest methods and technologies, and be able to recognize their applicability within our manufacturing and assembly operations. Responsible for monitoring and reporting key metrics and developing improvement plans.

Desired profile

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Strong Quality, Industrial and/or Manufacturing Engineering background.

Application of Lean and Six Sigma techniques, statistical methods

Mechanical aptitude highly desired. Ability to lead and interact with others in a collaborative environment a must. Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, 5S, 8D, Kaizen events, Six Sigma tools, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, Poka Yoke design desired.
