Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as a Project Engineer, based at our Leeds site, where the design and manufacture of Medium Voltage Switchgear and transmission and distribution transformers takes place.

Your responsibilities:

Manage customer Contracts to Business and Customer requirements, liaising closely with supporting Tendering, Applications and Sales teams.

Ensure Contract performance is achieved through thorough timely Contract Reviews.

Manage on-time deliveries and Site Work to customer requirements.

Ensure Risk is managed to business objectives, Commercial and Technical.

Actively communicate with Commercial Team, Supplier and Customer.

Provide feedback to Team Manager on current performance of all Contracts

Check the work in progress, through Contract Review meetings, feedback any positive/negative deviations for next bid submission.

Follow the Sales and net margin.

Pro-actively manage the manufacture of Projects.

Ensure KPIs are met.

Ensure quality and accuracy of information submission from STC through an auditable trail to customer (internal and external).

About you:

It is essential that you have previous experience of working as a Project/Contracts Engineer within a Switchgear manufacturing/assembly environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and a degree, HNC or HND level education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent are also essential requirements for this position.
