Project Application Engineer - Wind segment

Would you like to support a global organisation and its account managers integrating our offers and power solutions with customers in the wind segment?

We are currently looking for a Product Application Engineer for our Power Products Division with this mission:

·
Lead technical power sales in both Hardware & Software for Schneider Electric as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM)

· Develop and bring technical skills on specific applications in the Wind segment
· Contribute to the creation and adaptation of offers and projects

The job

You will support sales and technical support working with customer R&D to integrate our hardware and software offers and solutions by developing the technical skillset on specific applications in Power centric OEM segments.

You will also contribute to our new offer specifications regarding targeted applications and the expression of the needs for the segments of the market and the intermediaries.

You will be the preferred contact in case of co-design collaboration with key accounts. You know the competition approach for these applications and you take care that the targeted applications are documented, up-to-date and validated.

You write Application Notes and selection guides and implement support and facilities training.

You support and collaborate with our global communities by sharing expertise and training, and you visit countries and customers to understand their needs in depth.

Your profile

Based on a master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering you have gained solid experience (+5 years) in relevant OEM applications. You are advanced in technical product knowledge and you have wind application knowledge.

You have excellent communication skills that enable you to collaborate effectively in a global organisation across borders, functions and seniority. You get fuelled by working with complexity and challenging tasks. You are a straightforward team player, and you have a strong commercial sense.

You write and speak English and preferably also another language (German).

You can travel internationally frequently.
