Product Applications Engineer

Job description

Job Overview:

· Support customer's technical queries on electronic-based offer in motor-starting, motion & automation and power management related applications.
· Assist and influence consultants in technical specifications for these applications.
· Develop demo, sample and application example to support marketing and sales promotion needs.
· Conduct technical and application training and demonstrations.
· Maintain technical competence in latest developments and trends in relevant field.
· Interface with product, market or other Schneider competency centers to bring or adapt new solutions to meet the local market needs in related applications.
· Responsible for customer's site testing and commissioning (but exclude after-commissioning services) in complex issues.

Qualifications :

Who are we looking for:

·  Bachelor's or College Degree or Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
·  Minimum of three (3) year of working experience specializing in Engineering - Electrical or in the related field is required for this position.
·  Good knowledge of industrial automation, machine control systems, control network and web-based applications; familiar with general electrical application in various fields.
·  Good understanding of local market such as customers, suppliers, competitors, market developments and technology trend.
·  Strong command of spoken and written English.
