Liebherr-Australia has an exciting career opportunity for a dynamic post graduate to join the National Procurement Team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and committed with a desire to drive high quality standards, think strategically and embody the Liebherr brand and Core Values.

The Role:

· Based at Liebherr Head Office – Para Hills West, reporting to the National Procurement Manager
· Assisting in the provision of effective and timely Procurement and Purchasing services nationally for Liebherr Australia.
· Monitor expenditure and identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers and secure cost savings
· Assisting in the preparation, negotiation and evaluation of tenders and contracts for large supply agreements
· Effective contract administration and Procurement administration services
· Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Ensuring compliance with Liebherr operating principles, relevant policy, procedures and related quality standards, identifying and effectively responding to non-conformances and opportunities for improvement.

Key Criteria:

· Demonstrated experience and detailed knowledge and understanding of purchasing and contract management practices and procedures.
· Ability to plan and prioritise own work to meet prescribed deadlines
· Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of customer service and probity
· Demonstrated communication (written, verbal and interpersonal) and negotiation skills

The key for success would see this person having some work experience preferably in a like industry or environment, with relevant tertiary qualifications in Business/ Supply Chain Management / Law/ Procurement essential.
