Process Automation Year In Industry Student

Job description

The Year in Industry students are being brought into the company to gain experience in the engineering industry, and to be given the opportunity to understand the business, and the project lifecycle, from conception to completion.

They will gain the opportunity to experience this within the world of process control systems, gaining experience in the Foxboro I/A and Triconex systems within the Industry Business, Process Automation division.

Key Responsibilities:
· Working within a dynamic project delivery team on real customer projects
· Testing execution and support
· System staging and build
· Engineering tools build
· System graphics build
· Production of project documentation

· Appreciation of management and engineering processes
· Self-motivated to learn new skills and take on different challenges within the Project
· Innovative and creative abilities
· Resilience, flexibility and adaptability
· Critical thinking and problem solving skills
· Demonstrate leadership and support within the project team
Desirable but not essential:
· Knowledge on SQL/VB/C#
· Understanding of process control and automation
· Networking topology and cybersecurity

Our ideal candidates would be sandwich year students on relevant Engineering or Science degree courses.
