Our Global Data Operations team is currently recruiting an Invoice Analysis & Validation Associate to be an active member of our Energy and Sustainability Services group.

Invoice Analysis & Validation Associate

Your Mission:
Located in Dunfermline, Scotland, the position-holder will be part of a global team responsible for management of third-party energy contract compliance and supplier performance evaluation within a specified geographic or set energy market area.

Your Responsibilities:
Invoice validation:
validate third-party supplier invoices against contract specifications, within team KPIs
resolve billing discrepancies with suppliers via phone or email
update reports and send to customers
develop market understanding to allow for the creation of standardized modelling / shadow billing tools
recommend and assist with the development of database technology enhancements

Contract administration:
manage third-party energy contract compliance and supplier performance
build complex Excel models or system-based calculations based on contracts negotiated for customers and regulated / published rates
participate effectively in internal and external communications
enter contract information into a database
Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by manager

About You:
University / college degree, preferably in Finance/ Economics/ Math
Fluency in English is required
Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
Programming knowledge is an advantage

Skills / Competencies:
Ability to perform in a role where productivity and accuracy are of the highest importance
Strong analytical and logical skills; ability to troubleshoot effectively
Inquisitive – willing to dig in to find answers to problems
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; self-motivated
Willingness to collaborate with internal and external parties within an international environment
