What do you get to do in this position?

The HR Intern will assist the HR Team in Oxford, OH with recruitment, special events, reporting, employee relations and projects/process improvements. This role will provide valuable exposure and experience with HR in a manufacturing environment. Looking for 17.5 hours per week during the Fall 2018 semester.

Key Responsibilities

The HR intern will be responsible for:

· Help Manage HR projects.
· Run and maintain HR reports on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
· Analyze semi-annual employee engagement survey results and action plans.
· Partner with Supervisors to address employee issues and manage the corrective action process.
· Assist with recruiting and manpower needs.
· Prepare monthly communications. (Newsletters)
· Coordinate HR data quality audits and make data changes as necessary.
· Assist in other activities, tasks, projects as assigned

Qualifications :

Qualifications

·  Must be actively pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in HR, Business or related degree
·  Strong analytical skill set
·  Intermediate to strong experience using Excel, Word, Powerpoint
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Highly organized
·  Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data
·  Ability to interpret data
·  Effectively manage priorities
