The position is responsible for providing full HR partnership in alignment with Schneider Electric and ESS key priorities. The Human Resource Generalist (HRG) has the opportunity to partner with ESS management focusing on HR processes including talent management, recruiting, employee engagement, and employee relations.

This position will primarily support Louisville KY hub of 300 employees along with responsibility for analytics and reporting for ESS Global HR team. The HRG works very closely with the Senior Human Resources Partner within its scope of responsibility and reports directly to the ESS Global Vice-President of Human Resources. The specific duties include the following:

· Provide coaching on employee relations, engagement activities and policy/legal compliance
· Partner with managers on performance improvement plans
· Support legal and ethical compliance
· Provide support to managers and employees during annual Schneider People Campaigns
· Manager job offers and new employee onboarding
· Partner with local Universities including attending career fairs and maintaining relationships with university career centers
· Coach managers on navigating Schneider HR systems and tools
· Manage employee engagement survey reports and analyze
· Conduct regular data audits to HRIS database so as to maintain accuracy of information
· Analyze trends in turnover, employee engagement, retention, etc.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Essential Skills and Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
·  3+ years' of Human Resources or related experience with a focus on employee relations, performance management, policy governance and manager coaching
·  Proficient knowledge of employee relations principles, practices, and procedures
·  Proven ability to exercise judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters
·  Ability to build strong partnerships
·  Strong customer services skills
·  Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
·  Strong quantitative analytical skills
·  Advanced skills in Microsoft office and HRIS systems
·  Ability to build strong partnerships, collaborate and influence for results
·  Strong influencing skills
·  Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
