Job description

This role will be instrumental in the coordination of financial analysis in the NESSA Hub. The position will report to Hub Finance Business Partner and will operate as part of the Hub Finance team.

Deep knowledge of the commercial environment is essential; the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate sound analytical skills whilst also showing a proactive approach to their work. Working with the Project Accountant and the wider Finance team the successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards the development of a compelling vision and then deliver that vision to inspire and motivate the Finance team to drive the business forward to achieve our goals. Combining these qualities with a demonstrable strong and disciplined business acumen. Amongst many factors, success will be dependent on having a sharp eye for detail and the tenacity required to succeed.

As an experienced Accounting professional, this position will be the focal point of Schneider Electric Process Automation's forecasting process across a wide range of industry sectors including oil and gas, pharmaceutical, power and nuclear, food and beverage as well as water and utilities, automotive and energy.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

· ActAs the CQA key finance contact for the hub, analysing new opportunities and completing the financial review when required.

· Produce the monthly Overhead Recovery file for review, as well as completing the annual GEET calculation review.

· Produce and distribute both the SFC and DVC cost centre review files to the business. Ensure regular reviews are held with all owners to maintain accuracy and understanding future cost requirements.

· Generate and distribute the monthly head count file.

· Produce the detailed UK&I forecast P&L and coordinate with the other regions to consolidate the Hub position.

· Month end duties

o Prepare all month end project related journals.

o Handle SAP UPR close process.

o HFM Sales/Orders/Forecast submission.

o Produce the month end flash files (orders/sales/GM/SFC).

· Act as the key interface between Finance and the wider business to ensure accuracy of reporting and early disclosure of any issues (positive or negative).

· Look at continual process improvement, to ensure efficiency in the way both Finance and the Projects team work.

· Assist the Financial Accountant with any aspects of month end as required.

· Maintain and build upon the good business relationships already held within the hub.

· Assist the Financial Accountant with any external/internal audit queries as required.
