Dev Ops Engineer

Job description

Purpose of the position:

The role is mandatory for Maintaining, Supporting and Improving the CI/CD processes. In collaboration with Infrastructure team, Software development team, Qualification team and Web Operation team, you will be in charge of the management of the existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment chains used by Offer Data E2E applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Offer Data E2E Solutions DevOps processes:
• Support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes
• Ensure smooth running of current chains (based on Jenkins, GIT, SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker, Graddle, XLDeploy, Ansible)
• Analyze/troubleshoot issues on Integration/Deployment chains
• Ensure the Security level of the chains
• Maintain the parameter Dictionary of each environment (from DEV to PRD) in collaboration with Development team
• Follow up on latest versions of tools, define pros/cons to upgrade to these versions, define upgrade processes and apply them

Improve existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment chains:
• Analyze requirements of Infrastructure team, Software development team, Qualification, Web Operation team
• Implement new Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines for new modules
• Improve the automation on Continuous Deployment chains

Prepare the future of DevOps:
• Study the feasibility/possibility to integrate Containerization and Orchestration (in respect with tools provided/allowed by the company).
• Study the possibility to integrate Infrastructure As Code (based on AWS Infrastructure).

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Essential Skills & Experience:
• DevOps Engineer with relevant experience of minimum 3 + years working preferably in DevOps domain and overall experience between 4 - 6 years.
• Strong knowledge on DevOps Tools: Jenkins, GIT, SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker, Graddle, Ansible, XLDeploy
• Good knowledge on Linux OS & Bash Scripting
• Good knowledge on Infrastructure Solutions based on Amazon (AWS)
• General Knowledge about Database (SQL or Non-SQL oriented) and Database query language (SQL).
• Experience in Ticketing /Tracking tools (Jira/Remedy, ..)
• Good experience in Agile methodology (scrum & Kanban)
• Good understanding on any programming language and deployment in an enterprise Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, WebServices/API
• Master the technical analysis in complex situation and applications framework.
• Good Communication Skills in writing, spoken and Presentation.
• Ability in reporting, creating and updating dashboards.
