Schneider Electric is connecting millions of smart devices from buildings, data centers, industrial plants and infrastructure to the cloud to provide innovations solutions to address sustainability and reduce costs. We are looking for a cyber security software engineer to join our IoT Cloud Platform R&D team.

The ideal candidate will have 0-4 years of software development experience and a strong interest and/or experience in web application security.

Responsibilities:

· Implement and maintain security features, services, applications, and tools to protect the platform from exploits, abuse, access violations, and denial of service
· Comply with secure development lifecycle (SDL) practices such as threat modeling, secure coding, SAST/DAST scanning, and automated security testing to deliver secure applications with no known weaknesses
· Resolve software defects
· Extend and maintain appropriate security documentation
· Work collaboratively within a small team

Qualifications :

Desired Skills & Experience
Candidates considered for this role should have a BA/BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) plus 2-4 years of experience, or a MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 0-2 years of software development experience. Experience developing web services and/or web applications is desired. Knowledge of web application security, secure development lifecycle (SDL) practices, and/or cloud computing, is a strong plus.

·  Experience developing web services and/or web applications
·  Experience with ASP .NET and ASP .NET Core is a strong plus
·  Experience with Windows Azure and AWS is a strong plus
·  Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OWASP guidelines for application security, and/or secure coding practices is a strong plus
·  Knowledge of secure development lifecycle practices is a strong plus
·  Experience with SPA, web frameworks such as Angular, and Typescript is a plus
·  Experience working on teams following agile methodologies is a plus
·  Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new applications and technologies
·  Self-starter and team player
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced environment
