Position Summary:

We seek an enthusiastic, creative and detailed Business Analyst who values the opportunity to think critically and work with all levels of the organization as it relates to the support and utilization of Schneider's Field Channel Support (Pricing) business applications. This Business Analyst will work with multiple entities on pricing projects related to pricing tools, pricing accuracy, data analytics, and reporting. This person will engage in analysis, user interface design, requirements documentation and testing for various internal and external business applications that also require excellent end user experiences.

Position Responsibilities:

· Be a partner with Business, IT, and third party development teams to build and enhance business tools and processes.
· Be an owner of and/or liaison between our various pricing tools and our pricing analysts. Focusing on enhancements, improvements to the user experience and reducing down time as it relates to pricing tools.
· Elicit, shape and document system business rule requirements around pricing tools & processes
· Maintain strong functional knowledge of applications
· Support user requests for training and problem solving on existing systems
· Test and Rollout new system enhancements to system users; meeting training needs
· Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure that the business requirements are met.
· Lead Tools & Process reviews helping internal teams understand, develop and adhere to processes with respect to systems and business rules.
· Analyze the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems.

Essential skills and qualifications:

·  2-5 years' experience as business analyst working with applications that are data heavy.
·  Working knowledge of sales commercial processes, pricing processes, product offering and business analytics.
·  Ability to translate commercial acumen and business rules to system/IT processes and vice versa.
·  Working knowledge of business intelligence/analytics tools (Tableau, Access, Excel pivot tables, Salesforce, as well as other internal systems)
·  Strong communication and customer service skills with an ability to effectively relate to and communicate on a business level or a systems level.
·  Strong analytical skills with core competency in problem solving with an ability to probe for root cause via interviews.
·  Creativity to view a problem from many angles and drive towards an excellent solution
·  Self-starter who can suggest technology improvements with initiative to uncover and solve problems proactively
·  Attention to detail, thoroughly understanding the entirety of problems and solutions
·  Effective working on teams, within and outside of function
·  Ability to effectively multi-task and manage priorities
·  A Bachelor degree preferred in quantitative discipline (finance, math, etc) with associated experience in business intelligence/data management or equivalent industry experience
