What do you get to do in this position?

You will be an Application Engineer focused on our Actuator and Valve products and solutions for customers in North America. In this role, you will work along side our Application Engineer and Technical Support teams. This role directly supports our Regional Product Specialists by providing application support, recommendations, troubleshooting, and trainings to customers, consultants, and end-users.

· Learning our full line of Valves and Actuators for HVAC applications and applying that knowledge to support our customers.

· Providing application support for job specifics including product selection and support of exceptions.

· From job site drawings and engineering specifications, recommend product and build valve schedules.

· Utilize actuator and valve thought leadership to build specifications and assets to drive demand.

· Conducting lunch and learn training and presentations.

· Occasionally provide on-site application or troubleshooting support for customers.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

This job might be for you if:

· You have a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or an Associate's Degree and experience.

· You have 2 years of applicable experience with Valves and Actuators, Building Management Systems, or HVAC equipment

· You have a strong technical aptitude, problem solving skills and are inquisitive.

· You work with passion, focus and attention to detail in a high performance, fast paced environment. You are committed to setting and meeting schedules and managing multiple priorities. You are self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

· You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· You are able to clearly present information in a group setting, possess interpersonal skills and can represent our company with professionalism and integrity

· You are competent in the use of Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools.

· It is an asset if you have customer facing experience in a commercial construction environment.
