PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

In order to continue our focus on supporting the growth of our company, meeting the needs of our customers, and strengthening our strategic project activities, we would like to extend our Converged Cloud DevOps Team to progress our transformation towards being THE Core of SAP's Cloud Success.

Our DevOps Team is the heard of SAP Converged Cloud – the unified global Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform for all SAP products. To accelerate our roll-out into SAP's key markets and adoption of SAP's major solutions that is scheduled throughout 2017-2018 we are looking for a highly motivated working student (f/m) to support our global team and become part of our success story.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

After an initial on-the-job training, you will support our global Converged Cloud DevOps Team in Berlin including the tasks as follows:

·  Develop tools in the Kubernetes ecosystem to assist with rollout and automation of the Converged Cloud Infrastructure
·  Automate and enhance TLS certificate renewal procedures
·  Enhance our current Continuous Delivery Platform
·  Upstreaming your enhancements to our open source tooling

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  Student (f/m) at a university or a university of applied sciences
·  Preferred fields of study: Computer Science or related fields with programming experience
·  Programming languages: Go (preferred), Bash, Ruby, Python, Javascript
·  Technical skills: Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Linux system administration. Configuration Management (Chef, Ansible, …). Experience with continuous integration.
·  Language skills: Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
·  Soft skills: Excellent abstract problem solving skills, high level of commitment and reliability, good communication skills, fun working in a multinational team.
·  First hands-on experience with container technologies or related programming experience are an advantage but no must-have.
