UI Developer (front-end developer)

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

·  Design and develop applications in HTML5, JavaScript, JSON and REST with a focus on strong usability, responsive design, and high quality implementation using the best of modern MVC frameworks.
·   Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA and other engineers to enhance the existing UI technology and create a distinctive user experience for our customers
·   Provide valuable input into technical direction and establish reusable UI code components and patterns.
·   Ensure high quality presentation layer code through automation and unit testing frameworks.
·   Creating modern interfaces for current & next generation mobile devices
·   Collaborate with fellow developers on code reviews, and adhere to coding standards and best practices.

 

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

·  Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer science
·  Experience coding in HTML5, JavaScript and CSS, jQuery
·  Experience in AJAX, XML, JSON
·  Experience with JS MVC frameworks (AngularJS, Backbone.js, CanJS, etc)
·  Knowledge of source version control (CVS, SVN, Git)
·  Experience coding in Webdynpro for ABAP is a plus
·  Proven ability to manage to deadlines
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills
·  Must be able to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT management

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

 

The SST department offers the service and support technology foundation to SAP’s core strategy, providing seamless end-to-end service delivery and management platform, delivering and driving rapid adoption of SAP Solution Manager.

 

As a UI developer in Analytics team, you will work in a global development and support team that is focused on BI Analytics.
