SAP UI5 and Node JS Developer ( P&I IoT Moving Assets)

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The P&I IoT Moving Assets team in Bangalore is building the next-generation moving assets platform for developing heterogenous applications that enable new business processes and models for Customers. It combines a deep understanding of IoT in Moving Assets, SAP’s own Cloud Platform (SCP), and SAP’s in-memory HANA database technology to provide a unique solution for the business problems.

We are looking for talented, energetic, enthusiastic, goal oriented developer who possess good programming skills in SAPUI5 and NodeJS and excellent drive to learn new technologies and concepts in the areas of IoT, SAP Cloud Platform and bring up the tangible results quickly.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The expectations from this role are:

· The developer is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for developing Cloud Applications in SAP HANA Cloud Platform Cloud Foundry using NodeJS, SAP UI5.
· Should be able work independently on the Design, Implementation and Test activity.
· Passion to quickly learn new technical concepts, components and tools.
· Good understanding of various testing framework in NodeJS, SAP UI5
· Improvement of system availability and stability.
· Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to interact with teams and architects in other geographical locations

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

BE/Btech/ME/Mtech/MCA with 65% and above

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

· SAP UI5, Fiori
· NodeJS
· REST concept
· Web IDE
· OData concepts
· Multi-tenancy concepts
· Logging tracing trouble shooting
· HANA basics – In memory, Calculation View
· Git

Preferred skills:

· Application development on SAP Cloud Platform
· Cloud Foundry

WORK EXPERIENCE

· 2 - 4 years of experience in SAP UI5 and/or NodeJS
· Strong software development skills in SAP UI5 and NodeJS
